Meet Liz Kapran, a Canadian student, entrepreneur and influencer who shares her love of fashion and veganism on Instagram.

NR: How old are you?
LK: I’m 19 years old!

NR: How would you describe yourself in two sentences?
LK: I am a young creative looking to inspire those to pursue vegan lifestyles. Totally driven by unconventionality, I strive to show those who are skeptical or weary of the vegan lifestyle, the practicality and abundance of truly living it.

NR: How did you become a content-creator?
LK: From childhood, I have always been entirely driven by creative freedom. My passion for innovation led me to my program in university, a creative industries program specializing in digital communication and media business. From there, I was exposed to ambiguous and confusing world of social media and digital marketing. With some reluctance, I decided to finally create a niche vegan page to share my experiences as a vegan girl in the city. Today, it has transformed to much more than a page – it’s a community filled with compassionate, beautiful and inspiring people that bring me unexplainable amounts of joy, and appreciate my passion for art and simultaneous advocacy.

NR: Which people or books have had the most influence on you and why?
LK: The book called, The Secret, has influenced me the most when it comes to aligning my ambitions and intentions with my thoughts. I am a big practitioner of the law of attraction – this book has totally transformed the way I think and use that little voice inside my head. I urge anyone and everyone to read this book!

NR: What does a typical day in your week look like?
LK: A typical day looks like waking up around 9AM, starting off with an americano with almond milk whilst replying to DMs and e-mails, plan shoots for the week/month, run over to class at university, come home, make dinner, unwind with some cannabis healing and I’ll be recording stories throughout the day to capture and share it all!

NR: Do you have any occupation besides being a content creator (studies, work or your own biz etc)? If yes, tell us about it!
LK: Yes! Besides creating content on Instagram, I also work as a content strategist for a social media marketing agency in Toronto! Amongst that, on the side I sell personally-designed vegan advocacy accessories like phone cases and phone pop-sockets. They’re super cute (or so people have told me, lol) you can check them out at – all proceeds are donated to local animal sanctuaries!

NR: What are your 3 favorite tools for Instagram?
LK: My three secret weapons for instagram are: Unfold, Lightroom and Focalmarked. Unfold is an amazing design app that lets you personalize and curate aesthetic story posts, accompanied by tons of different templates and fonts. Lightroom is Adobe Photoshop’s easier-to-manage little sister, with colour/lighting correcting and the convenience of pre-sets, it lets you edit content professionally and quickly to suit your aesthetic. And Focalmarked is the best app for hashtag curating- the app’s algorithm creates a block of hashtags based on what the content is about, what camera it was taken with and the geographic location. I find my posts do the best when the tags are curated by Focalmarked!

NR: What do you want to achieve with your Influence?
LK: Simply put, it’s not so much of what I want to achieve with this influence, because I think I already achieved it: inspiring individuals who would otherwise not pursue veganism, even consider it. That has and always will be the major priority of my page. It’s only up from here!

NR: Which brand/s do you dream about doing a collaboration with?
LK: My dream brand to partner up with is MILK Makeup! I’ve never been so in love with a skin/makeup brand and also hello! Theire branding is beyond.

NR: What is your main reason for choosing a vegan lifestyle?
LK: My main reason is that there is absolutely no defensible reason why I should not be. To defend my ego and say I prefer the pleasure flesh brings to my tastebuds than I prefer appreciating life and letting it exist, would be deplorable. I couldn’t live with myself.

NR: Why did you choose to become a #BLIXTIZINFLUENCER?
LK: Because it feels incredible being a part of something much bigger and surrounded by like-minded, compassionate creatives looking to translate their message through the novel and digital.

NR: Which is the best collaboration that you have done with a brand so far?
LK: My best collaborations thus far have been with Ardene, Daniel Wellington and PlantFaced Streetwear Brand! I love working with brands that let the creative do their thing. That’s when brands see the best ROI: when the influencer is authentic and true to themselves/their audience.

Meet the Danish Influencer and YouTuber @gittemary, who strives to make the zero waste lifestyle accessible to everyone.
She is offering lectures and classes in how to develop a zero waste lifestyle, as well as she is sharing her own journey, tips and life with us in her blog, YouTube channel and Instagram

NR: How does a typical day in your week look like?
GJ: My days are quite tainted by constant work, which I love. I go to the farmers market, I answer DMs and emails. I also film my videos and edit them throughout the day. The later part of the day is reserved for being creative, drawing, creating, printing or whatever. I am working on some merch for my platform, so a lot of my time is dedicated to the creative process, which I love. Then I cook dinner, as well as meal prep for the next day. I always end up having several things cooking, because I love to explore new plant-based foods.

NR: Which people or books have had the most influence on you and why?
GJ: The book that has influenced me the most is perhaps The Alchemist, it taught me the beauty of being present. Or The Sadeian woman which I love as Carter reconstructs female roles and stereotypes.

NR: What are your 3 favorite tools for Instagram?
GJ: Unfold, I use for my stories. But other than that I don’t really use so many tools for IG. I am trying to get more into IG TV

NR: What is the best collaboration that you have done with a brand?
GJ: It’s hard to say which collabs are better than others, I never do collabs if I am not invested in the brand or concept. My partners has to be in alignment with values. I did love working with WFP – World Food Programme, to but focus on food waste. I also loved working with EU Green Week for more focus on urban sustainable initiatives.

NR: What brand do you dream about doing a collaboration with?
GJ: Lauren Singer’s Packagefree Shop would be on the top of my list for dream collabs, definitely; as well would Klean Kanteen.

NR: Are you a vegan?
GJ: Yes I am, I am a so happy that I am, every day!

NR: How and when did you decide to go vegan?
GJ: I started as a vegetarian two years into my zero waste journey. It was a longer process during which I learned more and about animal agriculture and its deadly impact on our planet.

NR: What is your main reason for choosing a vegan lifestyle?
GJ: The environment was the primary reason, however as I emerged myself more and more into this lifestyle, I’ve a deep ethical connection with it as well.

NR: What is your true passion in life? Why is it so Important for you?
GJ: Living in alignment with my values, definitely. I find great joy in reflecting upon why we do the things we do, whether it is out of habit or need. I find true passion in doing everything with intention and meaning, which is why I’ve made my vegan zero waste lifestyle my job.

NR: Which is the main reasons you chose to become an Influencer?
GJ: I’ve worked with social media ever since I was a teenager running a fashion blog. I’ve always documented my choices and actions, so for me, it is a natural part of my lifestyle. Social media also provides me with the option to communicate with other like-minded people around the world, who motivate and educate me all the time.

NR: What do you want to achieve with your Influence?
GJ: I would like to be able to do the same thing for others as someone did to me. I was so stubborn about eating meat and animal products for so long, but all of these inspirational individuals online opened my mind so much. I would like to leave a positive impact and show others alternatives to the conventional lifestyles.

NR: How did you end up with 6 dogs?
AR: Did I end up? Hahahaha I have Marlon since he was one month old, they gave him to me six years ago, and he is my favorite being ever. I adopted Yoko in Spain and the person she used to live with told me that she was having her heat in June. But she got it in March, in the middle of my move to the states, so I couldn’t do anything cause we were traveling, and the very first night we got to Miami, boom… and 2 months later, we are 7 in the family.

NR: What are your goals in life and career for the coming 5 years?
AR: I think goals are limits and I don’t like it, it would limit my experience in this world. I am focused on becoming a better version as a living being and as an artist.

NR: How did you become an actress?
AR: I believe that one is Born with a specifically talent, or multiple, our task is to find out in which area we can be our best version. I am lucky that I found what I love to do in life. I love the investigation and to see life under other perspectives, and understanding others mind, that is to me acting. It is a wonderful tool to stop judging cause it helps you to walk in other shoes.

NR: Do you have any specific hobby?
AR: I love, love…being with my friends (my six dogs), love reading about psychology, watch documentaries, videos about quantum physics and go to good movies.

NR: Why did you choose to become a #BLIXTIZINFLUENCER?
AR: Cause I believe that another way of living is possible, cause I think empathy can make us evolve. Cause we already did enough pain to these living beings that they are here to beautify our life and to teach us about empathy and compassion. Cause, another way of living is possible and is time t do it. One got what ones give and if you want to have peace in our hearts, there is no other way but changing. Because is time to say thank you with acts and cause it’s time to be responsible of the change we want to see. I am very thankful to be part of this team and makes me have faith and believe that I am doing something good with my life

NR: Which people or books have had the most influence on you and why?
AR: “Man’s search for meaning” Victor Frankl. Being simple to me it is a great book who went very deep in my soul…It made me realize what meditation does, we are free to change perceptions, and perceptions it is everything is our freedom, we are always free no matter what, to change our perception.

NR: What do you want to achieve with your Influence?
AR: I want respect, support animals right, I want to make people think that another way of living is possible. Animals are not here for us, they are here as we are, as the soul they are… No, I don’t feel I can or want to teach anyone how to live, I am here to learn it myself.

NR: Which is the best collaboration that you have done with a brand so far?
AR: With “Be vegan” ,Dr Goerg” and “Melissa shoes”. They were giving me so many products and they had me as the face of the brand, it was very cool and i felt we were doing great things together.

NR: What brand do you dream about doing a collaboration with?
AR: To me, it’s not about a specific brand, it’s about what the brand do… It’s important to make people find products that is cruelty-free and vegan. In the beauty industry for example we have to do a lot, because there is many people getting used to specific products and don’t want to change.

Meet the Vegan Influencer Ziya Empereur @vegansgotstyle_, who love inspiring people to go vegan. In her Vegan blog she writes about Vegan Fashion, Beauty and Lifestyle. Besides that she newly started up Easy Vegan Good Life to help others transition into the Vegan lifestyle easily and fast!

NR: How and when did you decide to go vegan?
ZE: I decided to go vegan 3 years ago. I was already pescatarian for a very long time. As a fashion lover, I was obsessed with designer shoes and bags, until I saw a video from PETA and Stella McCartney about the leather industry. I never realized that eating meat and wearing leather is the same thing. But indeed, the leather industry is not a by-product but a co-product. I quickly understood that every profit-making industry that uses animals is a cruel industry that I don’t want to support.

NR: What is your main reason for choosing a vegan lifestyle?
ZE: The animals. I love them so much, When I look at them and I see a soul, I don’t want to do them any harm.

NR: Which people or books have had the most influence on you and why?
ZE: Marianne Williamson and Gary R. Renard have written amazing books that have influenced me a lot. They are both spiritual teachers of ‘’A Course in Miracles and they explain the principles very well and in a simple manner. The main message is to live in love every second of your life.

NR: What does a typical day in your week look like?
ZE: I wake up, cuddle my boyfriend, check Instagram and my emails. I have breakfast- fruit, and coffee and then I’m ready to go to the gym or to do yoga. After the gym or yoga, I start working on my vegan eCourse ”Easy Vegan Good Life’’ that teaches transitioning vegans to fully go vegan in 7 days. Right now I’m mainly focussing on promoting my eCourse alone and in collaboration with other vegan brands.
At 13.00 I make a healthy vegan lunch or I meet my boyfriend for lunch outside. If we are outside, obviously he needs to take an outfit photo. It’s the golden rule.
After lunch, I go back home or to a library and I start studying ‘’communication and multimedia design.’’ Sometimes I get unexpected castings for a commercial – if the commercial is vegan and cruelty-free I go – otherwise I pass. In the evening I relax at home, with Netflix or I’m making content for my Instagram, blog and youtube channel. Or I go out for dinner or a drink with my boyfriend or my friends.

NR: Which are your 3 favorite tools for Instagram?
ZE: I’m obsessed with the gifs! For a long time I didn’t have them, while others did. Now that I have them – I’m so happy to use them. I really take he time to find the right one.
The other tool that I am very grateful for are the analytics, it’s so helpful to see when is the best time to post a photo, and to get insight of your audience.
The third tool I love is that you can share a post in your story and people can simply access it by clicking through, so practical!

NR: What brand do you dream about doing a collaboration with?
ZE: Stella McCartney!! She is the queen of vegan high fashion, it would be an honor, really. I would love to collaborate for Vegan magnum and Ben and Jerrys ice-cream too. Oh and Matt and Nat. Actually, there are so many vegan brands I would love to collaborate with as long as they are vegan and cool, I’m keen!

NR: Which is the best collaboration that you have done with a brand?
ZE: The best collaboration I have done, was also the most successful one with Nox-bridge a luxury vegan watch brand.
Another collaboration that I really liked doing was for an Italian vegan and toxic-free make-up brand Piteraq. Me and a vegan girlfriend have filmed a makeup video where we only used Piteraq make-up, it was so much fun to do.

NR: Which is the main reasons you chose to become an Influencer?
ZE: The main reason that I want to be an influencer is because I have a message to share with the world. Besides that I really enjoy working on social media, multimedia design and communication.

NR: What do you want to achieve with your Influence?
ZE: Well, as I said I have a passion with a mission. I want to see the world go vegan. A lot of people see veganism as an extreme lifestyle full of restrictions. I want to show these people, that it’s not the truth simply by showing them a glimpse of my trendy vegan life! This way people see how easy and cool it is to be vegan and they make the step quicker themselves.

Ziya Emperur

NR: What is your true passion in life? Why is it so important for you?
ZE: Veganism has become my passion! I always say that I have not only gained a compassionate and healthy lifestyle, but I have also gained a passion for a mission. Going vegan is the right thing to do, and I love inspiring people to go vegan, just by being an example and saying the right things. Besides that being vegan is fun! As veganism is rising, there are more and more vegan products on the market. I’m having so much fun discovering new vegan brands that I love. – It’s exciting to see the world go more vegan!
